I need your helppp

So guys i have a conundrum. I applied to this internship sorta on a whim. I didn't think there would be any chance I would make it in. Well, surprise, I tricked everyone and they offered me a spot. Now I am reeling, trying to decided if I should really do it. What do you think?

imagine looking at this map and reading
 "you are here"
Here's an overview:

European Internship

What Is An International Internship?

International Internships are an independent, work-oriented experience in an international, cross-cultural set-ting. Students bridge the gap between their academics and their professional career as they pursue personal-ized study with the guidance of a faculty mentor and receive individualized training under the tutelage of a field professional.
The International Internship philosophy is that students gain real-world experience in the globalizing workplace while gaining language and cross-cultural skills that contribute to academic learning and a BYU degree.

Internship Opportunities

European internships offer a wide range of opportunities:
  • European Parliament
  • Scottish Parliament
  • Think tanks
  • Lobbying and observer organizations to UN and EU
  • NGOs working in a wide range of issues and concerns from human rights to conflict resolution and beyond
Internship Locations:
  • Brussels
  • Edinburgh
  • Geneva
  • Paris

What Are European Governance Internships?

The European Internship Program (EIP) focuses on the international relations and policy-making institutions of Europe and the influence of these institutions on the world political landscape. Students may intern in a variety of organizations, including government offices, political or economic research institutes, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), and other types of international organizations.
EIP is designed to provide students with an outstanding educational and workplace experience, which will enrich their lives and bolster resumes for future opportunities.

Crazy right? Parliament! And that's the thing, this will be real work, not just getting coffee. Writing speeches, doing research, attending meetings, and heading up projects. Can i handle that? I went to the first class of the prep course, and the other 6 kids are wayyyyy too smart for me. I'm just getting started in my major! They are all seniors with double majors and crazy credentials. See what I mean? How did I get this? How long can I keep the trick up?

Pros:
Living in EUROPE! I'll be able to visit everything! Paris! Rome!
Once in a life time work experience. Nothing compares
It will help my resume stand out, better job in the future
Cultural experience, I'll be able to grow so much

Cons:
$$$. it could be as much as $6,000 :( ouchhh
I may be way over my head. can i handle this?

Help kids!! what do you think? Should I do it?

  2. Heavens, yes! The money will work out somehow, but when will you ever have a chance to do this again? Have some fabulous, never-to-forget experiences before Prince Charming comes home and you start your new adventure. And you are right, it will look incredible on a resume. So, go, go, go!!
