can you say guilty pleasure??

best.show.ever.
the only tv i really follow is this and the airbender series. i even got nate to watch it with me last year. there is absolutely nothing real life about it. and they all date each other; most are slightly related. i guess i just secretly crave the high, scandalous life. who doesn't?
watch it, i dare you

it has always seemed strange to me... the things we admire in men, kindness and generosity, openness, honesty, understanding and feeling, are the concomitants of failure in our system. And those traits we detest, sharpness, greed, acquisitiveness, meanness, egotism and self-interest, are the traits of success. and while men admire the quality of the first they love the produce of the second.

did you know we live by a river? it's hidden by stores and roads and stuff, but sometimes you can find it. it's at it's best up the canyon. i went running up the trail to enjoy this perfect weather weeve beeeen 'aving. it's one of the few places i can run ipod-less. there are much better things to listen to. and then i waded through the bridal veil pool with my shoos on. people thought i was dumb.
and then as i was stretching, these two cute kids who were obviously in love but maybe didn't know it yet, came riding up on there bikes arguing about something. then the girl slipped her shoes off and starting hiking up the water fall. they guy sheepishly followed. made me smile :) i've done that before, but it's probably a lot more fun when you're with your boy. i'll have to do that sometime. in the mean time i'm just gonna go jogging on the hidden trails and tunnels that follow the river.
until it snows

"Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on: you knew that those jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. But presently he starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts abominably and does not seem to make sense. What on earth is He up to? The explanation is that He is building quite a different house from the one you thought of--throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up towers, making courtyards. You thought you were going to be made into a decent little cottage: but He is building a palace. He intends to come and live in it Himself."

coming to Utah!
Him and Elder Miller at the fountain in front of the temple. Epic
they are going to Chile! this is when they learned where it is on the map
the shaqtus i sent him. i guess i need to send him a pot too...
most horrid decor
as i know have a full apartment to decorate, and roomates whose style i greatly disagree with, i've given a lot of thought to the ugliest decoration trends i've ever encountered

i don't understand why anyone would want animal remains laying around. and taxidermy? no thanks

these apparently had quite the social impact in the 50's. but i've hated them ever since i had to write an essay about them for my ap language test in jr year.

unless you live in the ocean, i don't understand why you'd want everything fringed with old sea critters homes.

really, why? did a cow boy die and they drew the outline. then filled it in and kept it forever as a commemoration?

any of those small animal or people figurines. especially bedazzeled and glittered ones. they're a little creepy and just tacky.
but of course i'll probably change my mind and fall in love with all of these by the time i'm a home owner. those flamingos are already looking pretty cute
